Freelance Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a Freelance Earthworks Engineer for a scheme in Teesside for 4 weeks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery of on-site survey information, including; topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations.
- Ensure setting out and quality assurance of the works is completed in accordance with the contract requirements in a timely manner.
- Management and instruction of Assistant Engineering Surveyors, including briefing and guidance.
- Preparing relevant risk assessments with regards to survey works.
- Setting up machine control.
Experience Required
- Candidates should have proven experience at Site Engineer level on Earthworks projects
- Previous use of Machine Control
- Ability to present and process data
- Minimum qualification of HNC/HND, however a construction related degree is preferred
- CSCS, First Aid and Full Driver’s License.
- Previous use of Totalstations and Robotic equipment
Remuneration
On offer is a rate up to £400 per day
